He was predeceased by: his parents, Arden Leroy and Minnie Mae Reed (Schmieding); his wife Mary Ann Reed; his stepson James Parsons; his stepson-in-law John Wilbur; and his brother Ogden Charles Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Saunders (Jim) and Ross Reed; and his stepchildren, Terry Parsons (Beth), Sheryl Wilbur, Patricia Saxton, Pam Allen (Jack) and Lori Kramer (Terry). He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
