She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Heeg and Marie Heeg (Gifford); her brother Clarence Heeg Jr.; her husband James Ackerberg; and her children, Christopher and Jamie Dee.

She is survived by: her children, Greg Ackerberg (Trena), Scott Ackerberg (Missy) and Rhonda Moran; her grandchildren, Nick, Megan, Kayla, Collin, Truemayne, Christopher, Rayne, Garon, Alyvia, Lidia, Lliam and Hailee; her great grandchildren, Cash and Emerson; and her siblings, Charles Heeg (Kathy), John Heeg (Shirley) and Meltha Hovey (Poke).
