He was predeceased by: his brothers, John W. Mielke II and James Mielke; and his parents, John Mielke and Eleanor Mielke. He is survived by: his wife Pattie; his children, Justin Mielke (Andrea) and Melissa Boyd; his grandchildren, Sean, Levi, Lexi and Laci; and his sibling Jean DeKeyser (late Rick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family suggests memorials to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
