He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Schoonmacher and Edna Schoonmacher (Spencer); his wife Esther Brodock (Dittman); his sons, Walter Brodock Jr., Edward Brodock and Eugene Brodock; and his son-in-law Bill Wiersema.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Hess (Ron), Karen Wiersema (John) and Troy Brodock (Sue Montague); and his daughter-in-law Terri Brodock. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
