He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Charles and Iris Welton (Bidleman); his wife Ann Mae Welton; and his sister Juliane Matthews. He is survived by: his children, Doug Welton (Robin), Dan Welton (Julie) and Julie Power (Tim); and his grandchildren, Chad Welton (Darcy), Darcy Cotant (Brian), David Welton (Samantha), Katie Hawthorn (Shawn), Kristie Mouch (Mike) and Megan Power. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
