It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roderick Taylor of Harrison, Michigan, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil James and Ervadine Elsie Taylor (Warren); his sons, Brian Taylor and Christopher Taylor; and his brothers, Gerald Taylor and David Taylor.
He is survived by: his former wife Janet Marie Menke; his wife Janet "Jan" Taylor of Harrison; his children, Scott Taylor (Mindy) of Harrison, Steve Taylor (Sarah) of Harrison and Kerri Recker-Taylor of Clare; his grandchildren, Russell Taylor (Whitney), Benjamin Taylor, Zachary Taylor (Britney), Travis Taylor, Bailey Taylor, Jacob Recker, Grace Taylor and Ava Taylor; his daughters-in-law, Danielle Gould (Dave) of Clare and Dana Taylor of Harrison; and his sister Bonita Esch of Lansing. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
