He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Wesley Schmidtfranz and Virginia Schmidtfranz (Chunko) of Owosso; his daughters, Kristina Bridges of Midland, Traci Toner (David) of Saginaw, Erica Sczepanski (Shane) of Midland and Amanda Bird (Jason) of Harrison; his grandchildren, Austin Sczepanski, Gavin Vaughn and Rosemary Bird; his siblings, Connie Luckhurst (Dan) of Owosso, Cynthia Brewbaker (Rick) of Owosso, Randy Schmidtfranz (Laurie) of Owosso, Roger Schmidtfranz of Owosso and Gary Schmidtfranz (Cathy) of Owosso; his pet Fancy; and his brother Timothy Schmidtfranz. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
