It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Edna Manteuffel (Harrison, Michigan), born in Hamtramck, Michigan, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Gugala and Anna Gugala (Walcski); her husband Florian Manteuffel; and her children, Maximillian Manteuffel, F. Michael Manteuffel and Pamela Manteuffel.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Allen (Edwin) of Washington Township, Maria Wilcox of Harrison Township, Andrea Janz of Harrison Township, Dr. Gregory (Mamora) of California, Dr. Lawrence (Mary) of Harrison Township, Dr. Mark (Teri) of Chesterfield Township and Dr. Ronald Manteuffel (Kit) of New Baltimore. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Vincent de Paul.
