He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Ahola and Lillian Pyykkonen Ahola (Sterbis); his brother James E Ahola; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth and Paul Liimatta.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Liimatta; his daughter Janelle; his son-in-law Wes Schneider; his grandchildren, Alexia, Sana (Ahola), Chase and Carsten (Schneider); his sister Carole (John Henderson); and his siblings-in-law, Chris Ahola, Doris and Doug Moyle. He is also survived by his loving companion of over 53 years; son.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Omega House, and Finlandia University to support Annual Scholarships enrolling in the Criminal Justice Program.
