It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jaye Coon of Hancock, Michigan, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jay Bernard "Bernie" Coon; and her aunt Clara Susan "Susie" Coon. She is survived by: her mother Maxine Ann Coon (Ries) of Hancock, Michigan; her children, Jesse Bourgo (Jessica Borsum) of Minot, Jamie Bourgo (Tyler Jansen) of Houghton and Patric Peters of Hancock, Michigan; her grandchildren, Clara, Esmae Borsum of Minot and Wyatt Jansen of Houghton, Michigan; and her siblings, Cindy Wageman (Steve) of Gillette, Wyoming, Gretchen Kristola (Jay) of Calumet, Kathy Marino (Joe) of Houghton, Jean Coon of Novi and Michael Coon (Amy) of Hancock, Michigan. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to make a donation in Jaye's name to the Portage Lake District Library or the Copper Country Community Arts Center.
