He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thomas and Dorothy Thomas (Giles); his wife Maryann Lanfranki; his siblings, Robert, Delbert and Elizabeth; his grandson Ben Dimmer; his nephew-in-law Mike "CoCo" Kovachich; his brother Joseph Lanfranki (Gen); his brother-in-law Reuben Moilanen; and his brothers, Ronald Thomas of Wisconsin Dells and Rodney "Butch" Thomas of West Allis, Wisconsin.
He is survived by: his children, James Thomas (Marian) of Hancock and Joanne Dennis (Charles) of Allouez; his grandchildren, Christopher Dimmer (Angela), Taylor, Rylan, Alexander, Sophia and Annabelle; his great grandchildren, Tayler Dimmer, Tori Dimmer, Jacelyn Dimmer and Bella Dimmer; his great great grandchild Karter; his sisters, Mary Jacques of Laurium, Roberta "Bea" Gasperich (Harv) of Calumet and Rosemarie Wickstrom of Calumet; his sister-in-law Angeline Moilanen of Calumet; and his goddaughter Andrea Kovachich (Paul) of Calumet Jan. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
