She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Grates; and her parents, Adolph Damman and Rose Damman. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Grates, Linda Hutchcraft, Mary Rose Nelson, Sharon Grates, David Grates, Patrick Grates (Jeannie), Michael Grates (Michelle) and Janise Maple (Mark). She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
