He is also survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.

“Dear Judy, I want you to know I send my heartfelt condolences to you. You and I met when Mike worked at Dykema Gossett. Mike was my Boss and one of the best bosses I ever had. We started out a little rough but then became good work friends. When Mike left we kept in touch for a while but then I retired in 2014 to take care of my husband as he to had cancer and passed away in 2015. I truly hope at this time of grieving your thoughts go to only the times when life was good together. Darlene”
