She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Martin; her stepchildren, Heidi Martin and Andrew Martin (Jenni); her parents, Sam Wiele and Mary Van Der Wiele; her brothers, David (Ruth), John (Laurel) and Bob Van Der (Kim); and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by 2 nieces, 1 grandnephew and 2 grandnieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Michigan Humane Society are appreciated.
