He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Walton and Louise Walton; and his siblings, Howard Walton, David Walton and Dorothy Walton Mooney.
He is survived by: his wife Salome Edgeworth Walton; and his children, Jonathan T. Walton Jr. (Susan), Lucy Walton Mooney (James) and Andrew Walton (Kathryn). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and a great grandson.
