He was predeceased by: his parents, John Treadwell Huntington, Sr. and Anita Pierce Huntington; and his child Tread Huntington (Charlyn). He is survived by: his wife Judy Schoenherr; his children, Christie Scoggin (late Pat), Holly Brady (Ed) and Shana Erber (Karl); his grandchildren, Samantha, Alissa, Tyler, Casey (Scoggin), Alex, Henry, Franny (Brady), Mallory, John (Erber) and Lauren Butson; his brother Bill Huntington (Mary Jo); and his brother-in-law John Schoenherr (Shelley). He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Paul's Education Trust in Grosse Pointe, or Loyola High School in Detroit, in honor of John's passion for education.
