He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Zerweck and Susan Zerweck (Mercier) of Grosse Pointe, Michigan.; his brothers, Stephen Zerweck and John Zerweck; his grandparents, Edwin, Edna Mercier, Herman and Sophie Zerweck; his aunts and uncles, Thomas Mercier, Christopher Mercier (Lawrence), Craig Mercier, Peter Mercier, Dorothy Mercier, Mary Beth Mercier and Anne Mercier (Cahalan); and his godfather Peter Mercier.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Zerweck, Nicholas Zerweck and Stephanie Zerweck; his grandsons, Benjamin Zerweck and Charles Zerweck; his siblings, Edward Zerweck, Elizabeth Zerweck-Tembo, Marie Zerweck, Jean Hirt, David Zerweck and Sara Shorin; and his godmother Peggy McDonald (Mercier).
