Anne Hinchman Berry Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2022, at the age of 89, Anne Hinchman Berry of Grosse Pointe, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Sterling Price Berry; her parents, David Hinchman and Anne Hinchman; her brothers, David Hinchman and Ted Hinchman; her siblings-in-law, Douglas and Mary Berry; her niece Nancy Hinchman; and her nephew Thomas Berry.

She is survived by: her daughters, Julia Berry, Ginna Ericksen (Matt), Martha Long, Barbara Pappas (William) and Melissa Hibdon (Terry); her grandchildren, Nick Ericksen, Melissa Ericksen Burns (Will), Andie Long, Peter Ericksen, Emily Ericksen Johnson (Alex), Stephanie Long, Theodore Pappas and Sterling Hibdon; her great grandchild Hazel Burns; her grandsons, Alejandro Lleras (Leah) and Mark Holley (Karen); her children, Maddie, Olivia Lleras and Charlotte Holley; her nieces and nephews, Ken Berry (Connie Nassios), Judith Garver (Patrick), Emma Meston (Jim), Sara Howell (Brad), Carolyn Gray (Dan), David Hinchman and Ted Hinchman; and her daughter Girl Scouts.

Memorial contributions may be made in Anne's name to Grosse Pointe Memorial Church or Interlochen Center for the Arts (Berry Family Scholarship).
