With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Corey Wiers (Grandville, Michigan), who passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Wiers and Nancy Wiers; and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wiers (Westra); his daughter Stacey Tessmer (William); his grandchildren, Patrick Thelen, Karsen Keuler (Dylan), Chloe Tessmer, Hillary Larson (Victor), Beth Tessmer and Karlee Tessmer; his son Aaron Timmer; his great grandchildren, Koda, Kagan, Octavia, Everett, Willow, Emberleigh and Cameron; his sisters, Barbara Vlietstra and Patricia Johnston (Terry); and his in-laws, Bob Westra (Robin), Henry Westra (Carolyn), Charles Westra (Kay) and Marikay Dobbins.

“Paul was the best leader I had in my 53-year career. I worked for Paul on a project in Novi, MI, where he represented Harley on a new engine – he gave clear direction & helped quickly with issues. When I worked at Harley as Manager of Engine Test, he was the Director of Product Testing group he led meetings with time saving agendas that got business done quickly & completely. Later, as retirees, I met him at a custom auto show in Milford, MI, where he showed his MG with Harley engine.”
