He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary De Young (VerStrate); his son Mark Allen; his parents, John Young and Florence De Young; and his brother John "Ron" De Young.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara De Young; his children, Steven De Young, Scott De Young (Kim) and Jayne De Young (David Lloyd); and his stepdaughters, Carla Nienhuis (Sheldon) and Carissa Beyer (Jon). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In honor of Martin, contributions may be made to First Reformed Church - Scholarship Fund or Corewell Health Hospice.
