We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2022, at the age of 84, James Douglas Schuitema (Grandville, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Schuitema and Ellen Schuitema; his wife Marie Schuitema; and his son Steve Schuitema. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Atwood (Mike) and Dan Schuitema (Tamara); and his grandchildren, Shelly, Shannon (Ryan), Bobby, Katie (Derek), Travis (Tiffany), Laurie, Sasha and Nick. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
