She was predeceased by: her husband William F.; her parents, Nicholas DeYoung and Irene DeYoung; and her brothers-in-law, Martin Story and Chester Holdson.
She is survived by: her children, Susan, John (Renee) and Martha Persak (Michael); her grandchildren, Katherine Persak, Michael Persak, Mary Persak, Megan Hoesch (Sam), Madeline and Hannah; her sister Mary Story; and her sister-in-law Mary Louise Holdson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
