She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Gavan and Elise Gavan; her brothers, Robert (Eunice), Charles (Gerry) and Edward (Kay); her son John Vincent O'Connor Jr.; and her grandmother Alice Davison.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine O'Connor Kuhn (Terrell) and Christine Ann O'Connor; her son-in-law Richard Divelbiss (Bev); her grandchildren, Donna Stine, Karl Kuhn (Kim Doran), Eric Kuhn (Mindy Miller), Sam O'Connor-Divelbiss (Susie Howe), Peter O'Connor-Divelbiss, Ben O'Connor-Divelbiss (Kasey Branam), Bridget Da Costa (Raoul), Paul Lewakowski (Cecilie Hedetoft), Gina Schillaci, Tony Schillaci (Kristin), R. J. Schillaci, Robert Schillaci, Gavan O'Connor (Nafatari Hale), Peter Caref, Kevin Caref (Crystal Clark), Elisa Caref (Pascal Abidor), Madeline and Isabelle O'Connor; her great grandchildren, William Stine, Maeve, Sophia Kuhn, Marin, Greta Alexander, Georgie Branam-Divelbiss, Mateus, Beatrice Da Costa, Vilje, Otto Lewakowski, Nick, Randal, Luca, Crystal Klatt, Mateo Caref-Silla and Sylvie Abidor; and her great great grandchildren, Yalaria, Avianna and Kylah Stine.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Arsulowicz Brothers East Mortuary (937 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Andrew (215 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
