We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Rosemary Cary of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Bay City, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sirmeyer and Clarice Sirmeyer (Goudreau); her husband Howard Garthwaite; her parents-in-law, Thomas VandenBrooks, Peter Shelley and Connie Sirmeyer; and her niece Laura VandenBrooks.

She is survived by: her sons, Peter Cary of Grand Rapids and Timothy Cary (Patty) of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Eamon, Isabel, Julia and Wyatt; her stepgranddaughter Natasha Hoving (Brandon); her siblings, Anne VandenBrooks, Jeanne Shelley and John Sirmeyer (Cyndi); and her nephew Dan Sirmeyer.

Memorial contribution in memory of Rosemary may be given to Hospice of North Ottawa Community (http://www.noch.org).
