He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Farmer and Frances Farmer (Modrack); and his siblings-in-law, Charles "Bud" Cribley, William Gould and Donna Cribley.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene Cribley; his children, Lisa Farmer, Scott Farmer (Jo) and Todd Farmer (Julie); his grandchildren, Ellory, Logan, Nicole, Brandon and Amanda; his siblings-in-law, Donnetta Gould, Ron Cribley, Arlyn Cribley (Carol), Rosemary Baehre (Leon) and Tim Cribley (Jan); and his cousins, Connie Leslie and Marge Pfieffer. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
