She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd H. Ferguson and Dorothy Ferguson (Lenker); her husband Eugene Thomas Carpenter; and her daughter Teresa Mary Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, Tami Brindley (Al) of Henderson, MI, Thomas Carpenter (Cherilyn) of Howell, MI and Ted Carpenter (Michielle) of Grand Haven; her grandchildren, James West (Jamie), Shane West (Autumn), Tristen, Micala Carpenter, Samantha Carpenter (Joe Nisch) and Aaron Carpenter; her siblings-in-law, Ruth Ann Dietrich (Bob) of New York, Wayne Carpenter (Lynda) of Owosso and David Carpenter (Maxine) of Colorado; and her close friend Sandy Kirby (Ken) of Owosso. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
