He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Hitsman and Katherine Hitsman (Wilson); and his brothers, Phil, Don and Jim Hitsman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Hitsman, Melissa Davies, Renee Ackley (Amon) and Brenda Randall (Matt); his brother David Hitsman (Nancy); his former wife Constance Marie; and his friend Kate. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
