He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Wabeke and Frieda Wabeke (Cooke); and his father-in-law Ronald Van't Hof. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Van't Hof; his sisters, Nancy Curnick (Tom) and Sandra Lamer (Randy); and his sister-in-law Tammy Beswick (Jeff). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
