He was predeceased by: his parents, John Yonkers and Alice Yonkers (Bouwman); his wife Erma J. Smit; his son Jim Yonkers; his great grandchild Charles Dunne-Shaw; and his brothers, Harvey and Maurice Yonkers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Shaw (Dan) of Hart, MI and Susan Winkelman (Chris) of Grand Haven, MI; his daughter-in-law Susan Yonkers of Spring Lake, MI; and his grandchildren, Ryan Winkelman (Tonya), Chelsea Winkelman, Steven Shaw (Krystina), Jacob Shaw and Sarah Shaw (Erin Dunne). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
