He was predeceased by: his father Donald LeRoux; and his son Nicholas Reid. He is survived by: his mother Julie LeRoux of Grand Haven; his wife Lisa Reid (Gaskin) of Spring Lake; his children, Amanda Arnold (Graham) of Scottsdale, AZ, Brendan Reid (Alexia TenBrink) and Emma Reid of Spring Lake; and his siblings, Amy Miller (Jim) of Traverse City, Michelle Carpenter (John) of Grand Rapids, Travis Reid of New Era and Elizabeth LeRoux of Kalamazoo. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
