With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carroll Bennink of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Coopersville, Michigan, who passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Bennink and Katherine Bennink (Scharphorn); his brothers, Harvey, Gordon and Vernon Bennink; and his siblings-in-law, Winifred Meredith, William Meredith (Bill) and Arthur Voisin.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Welch; his sons, Brian, Dave (Mary) and Jim Bennink (Joey); his grandchildren, Kevin, John, Alex, Zack, Brendan, Sean and Ally; his siblings, Irma Rotman, Ruth Garvelink (Robert), Bonnie Buitendorp (Jerry), Maurice Bennink (Marilyn) and Alvin Bennink (Pat); and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bennink and Mary Voisin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or to the Carroll and Dorothy Bennink Education Fund c/o the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation.
