She was predeceased by: her husband John. She is survived by: her children, Susan Hoekema (David), Tim Bosma (Kim), Jane VanderPloeg (Brian) and Paul Bosma (Alice); and her grandchildren, Dulcinea Avouris (John), Katrina Sink (Michael), Janna Hoekema (Barb), Oriana Bosma, Klaas Hoekema-Boerman (Krista), Luke (Kate), Lia, Alexandra, Philip, Colin and Kyria Bosma. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages gifts to Potter's House School or to Second Christian Reformed Church in support of Friendship Club.
