She was predeceased by: her parent John Putnam. She is survived by: her parent Etta Mae Putnam (Freeman); her spouse Ellis E. Coggins; her children, Euwilda "Sandy" Perry (Bryon), Charlotte Horton (Douglas) and Wayne Coggins (Debie); and her grandchildren, Matthew Stimson (Kathy), Mark Smith (Kim), Bradley Smith (Tracy), Troy Horton (Paige), Steven Horton (Judy), Crystal Polizzi and Joy O'Neill (Nick). She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, in Mildred Janet's memory.
