He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Foster (Ken) of Oscoda, Rhonda Hart (Bob) of Saginaw, Frank Byron Jr. of Glennie, Rodney Byron of Oscoda and Max Byron (Stacy) of Bay City; his grandchildren, Brooke Foster-Stalker (Jon), Joel Foster (Lisa), Christopher Hart (Kathy), Justin Hart (Joy), Scott Byron (Angie), Tiffany Daniels (Jamie), Joshua Byron (Jessikah), Brett Byron (Alison), Lucas Byron (Lea), Michael Byron (Kaitlyn) and Nicole Byron; and his siblings, Nikki Klompurs, Tharon Wardlow, Lucille Cowels and Leon Byron (Jerry). He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.
