He is survived by: his close friend Carolyn Schnickels of Phoenix, Arizona; his sons, Jack Mead and Henry Mead of Bradley, Illinois; and his siblings, Chris Buschlen of Essexville, Greg Mead of Bend, Dave Mead (Beulah) of Gladwin, John Mead of Palm Springs, Amy Mead of Durham, Paul Mead (Carrie) of Gig Harbor, Annette Roggow (Dave) of Gladwin, Pete Mead (Betta) of Las Vegas and Chris Pierce of West Branch, Michigan.
