She was predeceased by: her parents, Hildred Casey and Rosie Casey (Bryant); her son Troy (Lynn); and her former husband Paul Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Mathis Sr.; her children, Don (Kim), Herb Jr. (Sissy), Rich (Kary), Jamie (Sean), Dane (Amber), Heather (Ron) and Christina; her daughter-in-law LeeAnn; her siblings, Hilda (Fritz) and Jackie (Rob); and her parents-in-law, Donald Nash, Bruce, Dort (Larry), Sharon and Sue. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
