We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2021, at the age of 87, Joe B. Taunton of Gladwin, Michigan, born in Butler, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanza Taunton and Corine Taunton (Theus); his siblings, Cecil, Clayton, Naomi, Don, Emma Sue, Zeno and Roland; and his brother-in-law Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Zetha Eden; his children, Ron Blackhurst, Rob Blackhurst and Rochelle Whitlock (Curt); his grandchildren, Brent Blackhurst (Sydney) and Hailey Whitlock; his sister Linda Abney (James); and his friend John Beck (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews; sisters-in-law.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time.
