Jill Ries Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jill Ries of Gladwin, Michigan, born in New Boston, Michigan, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Walls and Virginia Walls (Collard); her son James Edward Ries; and her siblings, Jack Walls, Judith Morris, Sharlene "Petie" Powell and Kathy Walls.
She is survived by: her children, Toni Newman (Michael) of Gladwin, MI, Sharlene Keil (Bruce) of Gladwin, MI and Marvin Ries (Heather) of Gladwin, MI; her grandchildren, Cody Newman, Jamie Keil, Kayla Keil, Lexis Keil-Nash, Gabriella Ries and Jillian Ries; and her brother Roy Walls of Charter Township, MI. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, face coverings are required inside the building and there is a limit of 25 people at one time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to Mid-Michigan Medical Center or Gladwin Pines Nursing Home and would be appreciated.
