With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara K. Sherman of Gladwin, Michigan, born in Franklin, Michigan, who passed away on March 31, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Alfred Erskine and Clara Anna Erskine (Miller); and her siblings, Hilda Erskine and John Erskine. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Tripp (Ronald) of Chevy Chase, MD and Sandra Wark (Jack) of Beaverton; her grandchildren, Rachel Tripp (Callum Lewandrowski), Katherine Tripp, Carrie Breault (Adam) and Justin Wark; her great grandchildren, Amber Breault and Ethan Breault; her siblings, Anna Coon, Mary Merritt (Stanley), Susanna O'Dell, Nancy Taverniti (Joseph), Alfred "Bill" Erskine (Phyllis) and Thomas Erskine (Karin); her siblings-in-law, Valdine Erskine, Augusta "Gussie" Etelamaki (Edward), Martin Sherman and Alt Sherman (Robyn); and her godson Eddie Etelamaki. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Barb's memory can be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
