He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary; his parents, Walter E. Garvin and Angela Garvin (Mersnick); and his great grandchild Sebastian Matthew Doyle. He is survived by: his close friends, Bill and Kathy Seaman; his children, Michael Garvin and Tracy Waeghe (Wayne); his grandchildren, Sarah Doyle, Matthew Doyle, Garrett Garvin (Lexi) and Grant Garvin; his great grandchildren, Brayden Hackleman and Olivia Rose Garvin; his brother Doug Garvin (Jeannie); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Tatrow (Kay), Bruce Tatrow (Debbie) and Jane Klarich (Paul). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Walter's name may be directed to the Garden Historical Society, the Big Bay de Noc School Scholarship Fund, or to any Garden area church of choice.
