He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boeskool and Hattie Boeskool (Dannenberg); his stepmother Henrietta; his parents-in-law, Frank and Zelpha Kiester; his brothers, Howard Boerman and Chet Boerman; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Larson, Alice Kiester and Marshall Kiester.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Boeskool (Kiester); his children, Cindy Phillips (Gale) and Rusty Boeskool (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kirstin, Johnathan, Collin Boeskool, Dustin Carr (Tara), Heather Wilson and Kim Rodriguez; and his in-laws, Denny Kiester (Kathy), Marilyn Boerman and Arlene Boerman. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
Memorial contributions may be given in Russ' honor to Newaygo County Compassion Home or Family of God Community Church.
