He is survived by: his wife Maxine Miller Cavasos; his children, Ruben Michael Cavasos, Manuel Melvin Cavasos, Joseph Luis Cavasos (Julie) and Manuelita Anna Cavasos; and his siblings, Jose Angel Lozano, Gregorio Lozano, Manuel Cavasos Jr. (Vicki), Alonzo Cavasos, Pedro Cavasos, Jose Cavasos, Roberto Cavasos, Arnulfo Cavasos (Marion), Juanita Cavasos, Lorenza Aguilar (Carlos), Amelia Quintino (Francisco), Maria Martinez and Conception Barnaby (Brad). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, a great-grandson.
