She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottlieb Volpp and Rose Volpp (Powers); her father-in-law Joseph La Penna of Grand Haven; her grandson Steven Phillip Light; and her son-in-law Lee Light.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Light, David La Penna (Barb), Denice DeBoef (La Penna), Doreen Hettmansperger (Dale) and Daniel La Penna (Barb). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
