He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Jean Chaney; his parents, Wilbur Chaney and Mable Saunders Chaney Eberline; his parents-in-law, Ward and Geraldine Clouse; his siblings, William Clair Chaney Sr. (Nella), Wilber Chaney and Genevieve Little (Richard); and his stepbrother Harold Eberline.
He is survived by: his daughter Lorrie Barnes (Fredy); his sisters, Ruthie Ledford (Ron) and Ellen Cerezo (Jim); his stepsister Lois Eberline; his grandsons, Brandon and Micheal (Carley); and his great grandchildren, Emily and Hannah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
