She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sherman and Dorothy Sherman (Cunningham); and her siblings, Richard Sherman, Denny Sherman, BIlly Sherman, Bobby Sherman and Mary Snow.

She is survived by: her husband Christian Thompsen; her children, Annette Ward (Randy), Dawn Rice and Christian Harold Thompsen (Susan); and her siblings, Dixie Rich and Edger Sherman. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren.
