She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Geers and Jean Geers (Van Galen); her husband Bruce Van Houten; her son-in-law Mark Johnson; her sister Frances Timmermans (Louis Furman); and her brother-in-law Frederick Lummen.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Van Houten (Barbara), Susan VanHouten (Bruce Honholt), Steven VanHouten (Kathy), Mary Johnson, Nancy Folkema (Ron) and Lisa Van Houten; and her sister Barbara Lummen. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, & 1 great-great-grandson.
