She is survived by: her children, Robert TerVeer (Trena), Nancy Riness (David) and Ken TerVeer (Carrie); and her siblings, Hendrick Meijer, Lenie Dykstra and Roslyn Beckett. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Newaygo County Compassion Home.

“I was going through old memories today and decided to once again obligate a dear old friend, Jean TerVerr. I was so sadder to find this obituary! She and Al were two of the best people I have ever known and I still make the Almond Butter Cake every Christmas. I am so sorry for this great loss!
