He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Daniel Deur and Bertha Deur (VanGoor); his wife Evelyn L. Sneller; his daughter Joyce Persenaire; and his siblings, Dr. Gordon Deur, Eloise Kunnen and Evelyn VanEmst.
He is survived by: his children, LaVonne Meekhof (Jerry) of Bryron Center, MI., Philip Deur (Judy) of Fremont, Joanne Roh (Jack) of Wyoming, MI. and Stan Deur (Lisa) of Fremont; and his son-in-law Rev. Bruce Persenaire (Peg) of California. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren & 26 great-grandchildren.
