He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlo Roy and Lenora Elaine Church (Kempf); his wife Joann Elaine Smith; and his brothers, Verlo "Bud" Church and Robert Church.
He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Gill (Barry) of Fremont, Brad Church (Stacey) of Fremont, Jack Church (Su) of Fremont and Jeff Church (Jodi) of Fremont; his grandchildren, RaChel Gray (Jay), Keith Gill (Ashley George), Dougan Church (Audrey King), Troyer Church (Kristin Beeler), Kristy Stieber (Marty) and Sarah Wilkinson (Joe); his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Easton Wilkinson, Marcus Stieber and Loretta Mae Church; and his brother Bernie Church (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
