We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2024, at the age of 84, Gailen Dean Petersen of Fremont, Michigan, born in Greenville, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanwood Petersen and Evelyn Petersen (Ruppert). He is survived by: his children, Bill Petersen (Jaclyn) and Jill McKay (Roy); his grandchildren, Alexzandra, Damon, Marina (Alec), Dominic and Jade (KJ); his great grandchildren, Jazon, Allie, Lilith, Joelle, Memphis, Braelyn and Reed; and his brother Vernon Petersen (Bonnie).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Russell Gilbert Kids Free Fishing (c/o Annette Gilbert, 292 S. Barton St., White Cloud, MI 49349).
